PHFAT kicked off 2014 with a monster of a single, Lights Out, featuring the explosive JungFreud (AKA Nonku). The singled premiered on 5FM’s Fresh Drive and managed to beat out electronic music giant Skrillex for “Hottest New Track of the week” on their #NewFavourite slot.

This single proved to be PHFAT’s biggest one yet, receiving play listing from thirteen radio stations across the South Africa, including 5FM, YFM and Good Hope FM.

PHFAT received two MK Awards nominations in 2014. They were nominated for Best Video for House of Clashes, directed by Travys Owen, and the well-deserved nomination for Best Live Act.
