After a highly-successful tour across Australia last year with Swedish Hip Hop crew Looptroop Rockers , American Hip Hop artist/Spoken word poet Sage Francis is returning to our shores in December 2014 for a limited run of tour dates.
Francis has just released his highly anticipated fifth studio album ‘Copper Gone’, after a four-year hiatus. The album has since cracked the Billboard Top 200, peaking in the Top 40 of the Billboard R&B/Hip Hop, Rap & Independent Charts.
The album also made it into the Top 5 on the iTunes Hip Hop Charts in the US and UK.
Produced by label buddy Prolyphic, the album encapsulates a vivid spectrum of dynamics, both musically and lyrically, transitioning seamlessly between socio-economical and personal politics, and showcasing the rapper's ability to relate the microcosm to the macrocosm.
Francis will be joined Down Under by Sydney based Soul/Punk outfit Fait Accompli.
The tour kicks off at the Adelaide Uni Bar on December 3rd. Tickets for all shows are on sale now.
